The Droichead process supports the professional learning of NQTs during the induction phase,thus laying the foundations of subsequent professional growth and learning for the next phase of their career
Notice for Post Primary NQTs undertaking Droichead as a route to Induction:
From September 2017, Droichead is the sole route to Induction for NQTs in SEN settings and in large post primary schools of 700 or more students.more
Notice for Primary NQTs undertaking Droichead as a route to Induction:
From September 2017, Droichead is the sole route to Induction for NQTs in SEN settings and in large primary schools of 24 (or more) classroom teachers.more
Cluster 1, which is a compulsory for Post Primary NQTS who are undertaking Droichead as a route to induction, and have not already competed Cluster 1
