
Introducing STEM Through Playful Learning in the Primary Classroom

This course aims to support primary school teachers and support staff in order to better equip them to integrate science into classroom activities. Using a selection of readily available resources and simple hands-on approaches, the course will serve to embolden teachers to embrace science and enjoy the process of expanding the key scientific skills of:
- Observing
- Predicting and Questioning
- Investigating and experimenting
- Estimating and measuring
- Analysing / Sorting and classifying
- Recording and communicating
The course will explore STEM subjects and connect them to each of these simple experiments.
Teachers will be invited to participate with their own materials** if they so wish, or merely observe if they prefer.
