A course for infant teachers and SENCOs looking at the importance of early intervention in literacy and the effect this can have on long term outcomes for the children.
We will examine how to identify children at risk of literacy difficulties, how to use the continuum of support to plan early intervention, why early intervention is important and will look at what to do once we have identified the at-risk pupils who need interventions to help them reach their literacy potential.
