
Rose-Marie & Geraldine will explore the following:
- Culturally responsive teaching strategies; using cultural knowledge, prior experiences and frames of reference of ethnically diverse pupils to make learning more relevant and effective
- Academic informal and formal assessment tools will be highlighted. A wide range of interventions will be highlighted to support academic needs
- Social/emotional/behavioural support for pupils with EAL will be explored
- Practical strategies for supporting pupils with EAL within the mainstream classroom will be addressed
- Digital tools to support pupils with EAL will be highlighted.
